Member Update 4/13/20
Dear Sherman Lake YMCA Family,
We deeply appreciate the understanding and patience of our Y members as we navigate the challenging circumstances related to the Coronavirus. In accordance with Governor Whitmer's most recent "Stay Safe, Stay Home" executive order, the Sherman Lake YMCA will remain closed through the end of April.
During this time, we have a limited number of staff still working, all of whom are doing their best to assist you, while supporting rising community needs (please scroll down this email to view what we're doing right now). This work is essential to our community, and we are in a unique position to provide these services but we cannot continue this critical mission without your support. If you are able, please continue your membership with us. With our doors closed, your membership dollars now help us with this important work.
We are so grateful for you, and our entire Y community, brought together by our belief in healthy living and youth development, and a shared desire to strengthen our community. Stay with us. Please continue supporting the Sherman Lake YMCA. And, until we see you again, stay safe and be well.
Zach Klipsch, CEO
Sherman Lake YMCA

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
Stay with us. Continue paying membership dues normally, to enable the Y to expand our efforts to help our community during this difficult time.
Make a donation. We can’t do it alone…we need you beside us. Please consider making a gift to the Sherman Lake YMCA to help ensure we have the resources necessary to deliver these critically needed services.
Donate blood. As the Coronavirus pandemic has grown in the US, there have been many blood drive cancellations. The American Red Cross needs healthy donors to schedule an appointment to give. Click here to schedule a time to donate.
