Child Watch

At the Y, we know nothing matters more than the safety, security, and health of your child. Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all children in our care. Your little ones will enjoy a fun, supervised play area with non-structured, age-appropriate play while you take important time for yourself!

Child Watch is a free service available for Y Members. Parents may leave their children in Child Watch for a maximum of 1.25 hours a day. At least one parent or guardian of each child must remain on the premises and readily accessible while the child is at Child Watch.

Child Watch Policies & Procedures

  • Maximum usage for members is 1.25 hours per day.

  • Child Watch is available for children 8 weeks old through 10 years old.

  • Parents/Guardians must remain in the building while utilizing Child Watch.

  • Children are asked to pick up after themselves before leaving.

  • To ensure our staff can maintain a proper staff-to-child ratio, a reservation is required for each child attending Child Watch.

Encourage your child to practice HCRR!

HCRR stands for Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility. These are the four core values of the Y and they are incorporated into everything we do. While at Child Watch, encourage your child to practice HCRR by:

  • Putting away their toys and games before leaving.

  • Using their inside voices while at Child Watch.

Child Watch Hours

  • Monday-Saturday: 8:00am - 12:30pm

  • Monday-Thursday: 4:00pm - 7:00pm
